After being boosted by World Cup coverage on multichannels for the previous two Tuesdays Seven scored another easy win, five clear of Nine.

The Voice topped the entertainment offerings with an impressive 684k, up 20k on the previous week and steady with Monday’s result. RFDS that followed was also up slightly from its season debut of last Tuesday.

The Block was down 30k week-on-week despite less competition and also down on Monday’s result. However The Hundred managed a small improvement for its third episode of the season.

For ABC Kitchen Cabinet posted a big increase topping 400k, and up almost 70k.

For 10, The Traitors missed the top 20 down 50k from Monday and at 90 minutes pushed The Cheap Seats back in the schedule dropping 35k from last week.

The debut of Outback Farm did well for 7Mate.

The Voice lead-in helped RFDS defeating The Hundred.

The ratings of The Cheap Seats are suffering from low lead-ins from Hunted and The Traitors. Hopefully things will improve next week with the return of Shark Tank.

Good to see Kitchen Cabinet gain a big increase and the audience warm to a nice piece on Peter Dutton.

The Voice really starting to surge past The Block.

Now I don’t watch the block and never have but it has always topped the ratings year after year. What has happened this year? The ratings seem half than what it used to be.

I know it’s up against the voice but the overnight ratings seem low compared to previous years. Are people fed up with it?

Promising numbers for 9 News on the east coast, the Brisbane market being a standout.

Lol! Going to take a lot more than a kitchen table friendly chat with Ms Crabb to get people to warm to Peter Dutton.

Most of the people watching were probably just hate-watching for outrage

The Block is picking up BVOD viewing but I also suspect that people are trying of what passes for content on a supposed renovation show.

The afternoon was interesting as well and perhaps provides a hint of what might happen if Nine’s replacement quiz show is even moderately successful.

The Chase had one of its lowest Tuesday audiences of recent months while Hot Seat one of its highest - Hot Seat won Melbourne and Brisbane at 5.30pm and was just 70k behind in the 5-city total.

Following at 6pm Nine had big wins across the east coast enough to outrate Seven News’ 6.30 portion.

Yeah I’m sure there will always be the haters but from what I’ve seen the response to the show has been mostly positive

maybe we follow different social circles because that’s not quite what i’ve seen

Quality of renos so far are, to be honest, quite shit. They are like House Rules standard.

And the new judge is a drag.

9 Brisbane seems to regularly win from Tipping Point in the afternoon to ACA in the early evening. The news hour is the exception where 7 often scores a win.
The Block usually beats The Voice, and last night The Hundred beat RFDS.
Brisbane went against the trend of the other cities.
We also know Today beats Sunrise, and even The Matildas recent games were less popular in Brisbane.
Qld statewide though is strong for 7.

Yes 7 Qld is strong, and with its regional news that is probably deserved.

But 7 Brisbane i think suffers from the halo of Nine’s NRL.

It always has, but for a period of time in the Rod and Kay heyday.

As discussed a few years ago on here, 7 QLD also took a hit, especially in the morning, with the constant Sam Armytage anti-Palaszczuk attacks during COVID. It was so bad that for one of the first times ever, I started watching Today. Even though I’m back to switching between them now, I used to be always on Sunrise. That’s not the case anymore, and it’s likely because of the habits of that COVID period that have carried over. It opened the door to switching over :person_shrugging:

Don’t want to lean overly political but I reckon Sunrise could try some of that to claw back the QLD audience given that it appears Palaszczuk is on the nose :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Or maybe not.

Same. But I didn’t last long.
