Will this be the first time Grant Denyer appears on a show produced for Nine?

Does the TV Logies count?

SERIES SYNOPSIS

Join Gold Logie winner, television and radio presenter Grant Denyer, culinary legend Miguel Maestre, big-wave surfer Felicity Palmateer, veteran stuntman Rob Palmer, and seasoned presenter Tom Williams in the new series TopKnotz, premiering Thursday, November 27, at 8.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

The series throws these five fearless friends into a global, full-throttle adventure across seven countries, diving deep into the world of marine leisure like never before. It’s high-stakes, high-speed and high-comedy, proving that when this crew hit the water, the results are always unforgettable.

In ten episodes, the hosts abandon all comfort and common sense, subjecting themselves to a relentless series of chaotic challenges. The action begins as three of them face a terrifying inaugural dive with 30 bull sharks, setting the tone for the white-knuckle ride to come.

Later, Grant Denyer puts everything on the line, chasing the deadly 515 km/h World Water Speed Record, while Rob Palmer attempts a comical but catastrophic world record on a donut tube at 160 clicks.

From tackling treacherous rapids on a giant inflatable unicorn in New Zealand to going toe to toe with the pros in the Formula One of the ocean, Sail GP, every moment is packed with adrenaline.

Amidst the chaos, the crew also find time to explore the ultimate in luxury, reviewing the superyacht Quantum and bringing five-star dining to the world’s most remote places with Miguel’s Sandpit kitchen.

The series is as much about confronting fear as it is about fun. Viewers will see Tom Williams in a panic attack during a high-speed ride, Rob Palmer endures an embarrassing stand-up comedy routine in front of 700 people, and a harrowing breath-hold challenge forces Grant Denyer to face his phobia of drowning.

Combing breathtaking locations and extreme stunts with the hilarious, high-pressure dynamic of five adventurous mates, TopKnotz is much more than just an adventure show on the far-flung waters of the world.
