The world feed graphics are not good at all. Iâve seen better font choices on community television.

Letâs try and keep this to discussing Australian coverage as much as possible.
Overseas sets, interesting coverage/pres elsewhere is fine but running commentary on another countryâs broadcast that not many of the board has seen is probably better elsewhere - like an existing thread for that countryâs TV product (NZ, Britain, US etc)
Having them in Sydney in front of a green screen of the Melbourne studio doesnât seem to be the correct perspective.
I assume Steve Robilliard commentating the gymnastics is for the OBS not seven?

honestly they could just use the sunrise set/desk for Sydney and itâd look better.
I wonder if we will see âOlympic Updatesâ like we saw at Rio, Gold Coast and PyeongChang?
I wish Seven would play something else other than the Menâs Road Race. Go in between other sports and then come back to the Road Race after an hour.
So 7 probably deciding given two Australian voices for the world feed they wouldnât need to employ their own commentary for a sport where we would struggle to win a medal.
Iâm of the personal opinion that there should be a local voice for most sports (well at least sports Australia is entered in).
Not sure about other cities but I definitely saw such a promo run in Melbourne during the pre-show.
The downside for people like me who switch from stream to stream regularly though is having to put up with pre-roll ads (and usually the same ones) every time.
I understand thatâs the necessary price paid for having free coverage but itâs still annoying nonetheless.
It appears to be the same handful of advertisers as well

Havenât been able to take any caps, but there were a few promos in Perth last night. One touted 7NEWS and Sunrise in regards to Olympic coverage and had a similar tagline to âAustraliaâs Olympic Networkâ (something like âAustraliaâs Olympic Newsâ?)
Another featured later on that was similar to the âKnow the Newsâ promos seen in other states and featured the three-note piano jingle of âThe Missionâ.
Agreed about the ads itâs very frustrating and annoying. Maybe they could make it that once itâs been letâs say 10 minutes since youâve clicked on a new stream then the ad is played. If your channel surfing though between the streams it then wouldnât come up as an ad?
