What are you talking about? This is the nicest the background has looked in years and far simpler and more cohesive than a cheap photo of the Sydney CBD.

Really polished graphics, which Today has always lacked compared to sunrise so good job to the team at 9. Now the set is the main let down - copy the bbc breakfast one !
And cannot believe they are looking at chucking Sarah for that loathsome Sam. Karl is the one who need to go. If only he could carry the show as successfully as he manages to get the woman co-host of the day to shuffle off.

Viewers’ feedback is that they don’t understand what PER means.
At least that’s what I think in trying to explain this.
Still looks better the the old dated look. But there’s improvements needed especially with that backdrop, should just bring back the sky one used from 2013-16. Shame they didn’t get rid of that awful theme music.

Why does the strap with the date on it in the opener only comes up for a few seconds at the end where you can barely see it?? I have had the same problem with the news GFX from day 1 but IMO it looks even worse here without it the whole opener.
