Why are all the ‘on air talent’ bringing their personal relationships onto these shows lately?
They’ve got no other content, that said I don’t actually hate it and it does fit with the family theme all the breakfast shows are going with atm.

This is no different from what these shows have been for 15 years.
Charles Croucher kicked off his first feature interviews with politicians each Sunday as political editor. Jim Chalmers interviewed this morning regarding this weeks Federal Budget.

I think that’s the whole point - “look, Karl and Ally are just like YOU!” Makes sense, really, what with the cost of living crisis - it would look kinda bad to be dressing them in expensive designer gear.
