Genuine question here (since I haven’t watched Today Extra in a while). Does the Morning News Presenter normally present the news on Today Extra also? If so, it will be a long day for Deb Knight, as she will be presenting the 4pm in Sydney too.

It’s not that long, imagine it being a typical 9am to 5pm job.
First news update is at 9.30am, then every 30 mins until the morning news at 11:30 and afternoon news at 4pm.

The presenter probably gets in at 7:30 to start hair and makeup/get across the day’s news. Making it a 9.5 hour day.

Today Extra is also getting the modified clock this morning as it is also showing the SOO countdown.

Tuesday was OG presenters from both morning shows up against each other asn it was a tine in the metro markets 142,000 to both. That followed a closer contest at breakfast with Sunrise only 25,000 ahead.

In metro ratings, Today was just 8,000 behind Sunrise on Monday with Today Extra closing the gap to TMS to just 4,000.

Mentioned this morning that the show will be live from Disneyland next week,
Dickie and Belinda will be hosting tomorrow, while David and Sylvia make their way there.
Know The Morning Show celebrated their 5th and 10th anniversary there (in 2012 and 17 respectively).
Next week is 5 years I’m pretty sure since Sylvia since over Today Extra permanently. She filled in for the rest of 2019 after Sonia left. She was announced as the permanent host over the summer, but Belinda filled-in for six months as she was on maternity leave (during the first Covid lockdown).

I thought it was the breakfast team heading there I wasn’t expecting those two. It’s great to have DC and SJ travelling to LA and heading to Disneyland. Mind you, Karl, Lisa, Dickie, Richard Reid and Stevie travelled to Disneyland in 2012
