I don’t know. why do you have a Santa hat on?

You should know. Because it has been forced on me. If I had a choice, it wouldn’t be seen there until Christmas Eve.

I find the idea of celebrating Christmas every day for 24 days leading up to Christmas a joke. Also there are 12 days of Christmas which are traditionally after Christmas. Not to mention all the retailers putting up decorations earlier in the year, sometimes as early as August. Enough!

Calling all long-time Today show fans; does anyone remember that lip-syncing video they did a few years back to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You”?
Can’t seem to find it anywhere.

Wasn’t it Studio 10 who did that rather than Today?

Yeah pretty sure that wasn’t Today. Definitely Studio 10.

No Today definitely did it… well before Studio 10’s time infact.

Are you sure…?

Today should bring back Casharoo to go up against Sunrise. But they don’t give out cash anymore, it’s more like holiday giveaways sadly.

Who was in it?

Today show did their own version in 2010, however it has since been taken down from the socials.

I rather they don’t. Today’s success comes from the fact that they do a high quality breakfast show focussed on news rather than full of fluffy stuff which Sunrise excels in.

Practically everyone who was at TCN at the time.
Karl, Lisa, Georgie, Ben, Dickie, Richard Reid, Stevie, Emma Freedman, Mike Dalton, camera and sound crews, producers, and plenty more.
It’s a shame it’s not available anymore.

I remember it. Michael Usher was hosting with Lisa at the time.

I was starting to question my memory for a minute hahaha
Thanks mate :+1:t3:

It is meant to be genetic. Not any one city.

It’s clearly not generic. I can identify most of those buildings in that Sydney skyline viewed from the Botanic Gardens.

ANZ Building, Deutsche Bank, Chifley Tower, Aurora Place, Governor Phillip Tower, AMP Centre, Hotel Intercontinental, Australia Square, Gateway, Quay Apartments.

It’s obviously Sydney

You’re right. They’ve picked the most obscure photo of Sydney in existence to really give you the “this isn’t a generic photo, we’re in Sydney” kind of feel. :joy:
