Today was almost back to normal this morning. Notable for no dedicated sports reporter or cross to Paris. There seemed to be a lot of standing presentations and use of the studio. The Olympic rings occasionally still animated with the Today logo.

Bit of a challenging OB this morning, lots of noise from people, choir rehearsals, planes taking off etc. For the earlier part of the show, the backdrop behind them looked a bit meh, but is filling up with people now.
Alex returned this morning with Karl & Sarah at the Qantas Hanger, Tim doing weather from there too, Jayne with the rest of days news in the Studio.
Really warming to Jayne in the newsreader role.

Kinda feel a bit sorry for Jayne always stuck in studio. Would be good to get her out on location and make it feel more like she is part of the team

Often done this way as a backup should anything go wrong with the OB.
Would also be very hard for her to present news headlines out on location today given the challenges I outlined above.
Alex has been distracted / even paused at one point while reading sports news.
