Seems that the breakfast shows were scrambling to cross to anyone this morning whether they be in London, Perth, Sydney; this looks to be the first cross to someone on the ground

I just watched the “what’s on streaming” segment on 9Now with Brooke from this mornings program and she is most definitely in an accent transition. The way she said “Disney+” especially, it is very clear she’s speaking differently, it’s all very odd.

Maybe Nat Barr is the reason people are switching to Today. And Shirvo off yesterday was the last straw for people, causing them to switch to Today.

On a separate but not totally unrelated note, @TV.Cynic have you been able to notice trends between the weekday and weekend programs per market? For example, I think WS does better in Melbourne and Weekend Today poorer in Melbourne vs their weekday shows? At least they were.

It seems that in the past weeks, especially since Easter, Weekend Today is starting to overtake Weekend Sunrise in Melbourne and posting several wins. The 5-city numbers for Weekend Today are consequently up from earlier in the year and compared to the same time last year. Though the data is incomplete and it isn’t consistent with Weekend Sunrise still the preferred program.
