Drew made it sound like another whole team axing was happening next year.
I guessed he was saying that every time the show has settled and starts gaining in the ratings, something happens, like losing presenters, to shake it up again.

Oh right, na, I think they’re pretty settled now. Sarah has been an amazing addition and I think both her and Karl seem settled in for the long haul.

Reported on the Sydney news tonight that long-time Today contributor Dr Ric Gordon died of pancreatic cancer. It included vision of Georgie interviewing him and she signed off the story with “He’ll be deeply missed.”

Here’s one for the long time watchers. Remember when the team of Karl, Lisa, Georgie etc… Toured Canada for their tourist campaign?
Does anyone remember where they went? I know of Banff, Lake Louise and Whistler but cant remember the other places

Thank you. I swear they were on some lake and if had a giant tree and a walkway that looked over the lake but Lake Louise doesn’t look like that at all. I’m baffled as I remember the setting and backdrop so differently

I think they did New Zealand in 2021 and arrived home just before the big Sydney lockdown. I don’t remember if the entire team went or not.
