I feel for Georgie. A terrible predicament for all involved. Georgie is a great newsreader and her compassion for the interviewees always offerred a unique angle on Today.
Georgie says that she will return to “her love of news”. I’d suggest that she will fill-in for Deb on 6pm and host news events.

I would assume a minor refresh of the current set using new elements that can be moved over to the new studio later in the year?
I find it sad that Georgie doesn’t get a farewell, surely they should’ve learnt that mistake from last year?

I am glad Karl is coming back. They did pick the wrong host in Georgie. To me she seemed a boring towards the end.not all.news readers make great tv break fast host and Georgie just proved it and I think tom can be a little immature at.times too.

Let’s hope Ally is bloody good on weekdays. She’ll need to be. The gap between WT and WS widened with her and David Campbell at the helm this year so I find it puzzling 9 think she is the answer to saving the weekday show.
She seems like a lovely lady though. I just hope Karl is nice to her and not a dick again in 2020. Maybe he’s grown up. Bahaha.
