So new hosts and new content I’m guessing
Believe it or not, people’s feelings can change once you have something taken away from you.
Ever heard of “don’t know what you have until it’s gone”?
I don’t think anyone they put in will be good enough to compete with Sunrise until they loose Kochie or Nat/ Mark.
Today is the 2Day FM of TV. They need to wait til Kyle and Jackie retire before they even have a chance at becoming competitive again.
Hopefully they’ll confine their matrimonial work bitch sessions to the privacy of their home and not air Today’s dirty laundry in the back of an Uber.
I’m sorry, I don’t agree. No one on Sunrise is Ian Ross or Brian Henderson or Rick & Sue. Today have beaten Sunrise on God knows how many occasions in the past, let alone in 2016.
Dethroning a breakfast show that has been on top for more than 15 years is possible, you only have to look at GMA in the U.S.
Today must be different. They need a strong emphasis on local news, social media, live performances etc. It is possible for Today to beat Sunrise.
I think Today should try and test Chris Kohler during this period, I can really see good potential in him.
I think they should try Tim Davies.
I was thinking that also
Thursday (22.08.2019) - Friday (23.08.2019): Mark Burrows is reading the news.
Richard Wilkins is presenting Thursday Entertainment, with Brooke in transist. On Friday, she is presenting Entertainment from California.
And I was right that MB would read the news
Monday on The Today Show
Monday 26 August-
Ben Fordham is reading news for a couple of weeks.
About time they are listening. I said so many of these things (the third host, Stevie doing more OBs, Ben filling in for Tom for nostalgia ) months ago.
Monday 26 August-
Lara Vella is presenting weather with Stevie off sick this morning.
Fingers crossed he doesn’t. He’s terrible on Today.
OMG. They have actual camera operators in the studio.
Good to see Fordo doing some news on the Today Show
IF they can bring Ben back, why not Karl to fill in?
Big studio, lots of talent, would help to have people on the ground and not a joystick.
Don’t get too used to it though, come the move to North Sydney I’d imagine that Today (and other Studio 22 productions) will be under automation.
I reckon Nine will most likely be done with Karl Stefanovic once his contract expires. How long does that have to go anyway?
