Yes the way an app live feed works is through something called HLS. It’s Apple designed (dates back to when they ditched Adobe flash player) - it sends data via packets. It’s how you get live video to apps and also things like Alexa and Google Home devices.
And I can tell you it’s something I knew nothing about a year ago!
Today’s show seemed to flow a lot better @blackbox IMO. I’m guessing the in show headlines were dropped because they filled the gap before you started?
We had a bit of a technical issue at the top which is why I got Ahron to present the update at the start. We’ll be back to normal tomorrow but I agree the show is really starting to find it’s feet and flowing better. Still a few issues to iron out but it feels like a good little show
I hope your hard work pays off, people like you are the reason why the TV industry can still adapt and thrive. I find it unbelievable that a startup like Ticker has a better set and on air presentation then some of the programs on the 3 commercials. Well done!
This is a very neat operation. To see how much content is being pumped out of that one workplace and so soon after launch, is quire incredible really. and it looks great.
Great work as always @Ahron - I love seeing behind-the-scenes tours, especially with something that is becoming bigger by the day. Congrats again on the new Ticker Sport program as well!
