As in like set pieces or graphics for the screens?
Sheesh.
They really need to fix that interlacing. They also have some pretty amateur frame rate issues on their promotional stuff and the break loop.
Also, why is the clock out by over 15 hours?
Clock on the backdrop reads 22:08.
Every expensive way to play sets and graphics designer
No point having background clocks if they’re not right. It’s attention to detail.
I’d also knock out the focus a touch, make it more realistic.
Also, it would be better to use a font where the numbers are all uniform height and align with the letters. That font looks like Raleway.
Just noticed the background has changed on studio 2 and I’m really liking it. Especially the right side as it looks realistic. I’ve been critical of Ticker previously but I’m liking the direction it’s going.
The audio still seems to be an issue. Some segments are loud and some are low. I also feel like way to much is happening on screen. Scrolling text, streaming now animation and logos for where to download the app, all basically saying the same thing.
Maybe if the scrolling text was used for something more informative like socials ect and have it flick over like ABC news. That way the graphic that promotes where to download the app could be removed along with the streaming now animation (which could possibly be combined with the watermark/logo on the left.
This is constructive criticism as I’m finding myself switching on Ticker during the night when I can’t sleep
How much money is spent on continual set/newsroom upgrades?
I really hope they have spare streaming PCs if that one breaks down. I would be screaming if that’s what my multi-million dollar company was relying on.
Probably no point trying to grow the brand on Ticker when Rob McKnight wants to make it his showpiece on his streaming service?
Makes sense for why it went over an hour last night.
Well done. Bit random though.
Do they have USA and UK bureaus…?
A bureau can just be a freelancer with a camera.
