Ultimately a small set like suggested above in the newsroom would be the best way to go if there are height issues and they don’t have a proper studio anyway.

Something like this, with good thematic lighting and enough branding around the place would be nice to see.

Stuff owner Sinead Boucher and Warner Bros Discovery’s New Zealand boss Juliet Peterson appeared on Wednesday in front of an audience of advertising and marketing industry professionals, explaining how they came together, the power of collaboration, and what to expect in the weeks ahead.

I did think that too, given she’s been in all the launch promos but being Laura is confirmed as the weekend host and they used a picture of her above I’m not sure. Maybe they think having her in her normal weekend role is good for their first few bulletins and then next week when Sam is on they’ll hopefully be in the groove a bit more.

Tonight marks a brand new era for news in New Zealand.

Rather than TV3 producing its “own news”, media company Stuff will provide the new news bulletin reverting back to its original name that started back in 1989. ThreeNews.

Laura Tupou (weekend) is expected to debut the refreshed Three bulletin, at 6pm.

But as you know, it’s not Newshub as we know it. Interesting to see what the new changes are.
