Breaking graphic behind. Seen on Stuff’s website report of the IT outage.
Really? KFC? ![]()
When KFC in the UK ran out of chicken a few years back, one or two people infamously rung the police.
threenews.co.nz now redirects to the ThreeNow homepage instead of the Stuff website.
Call me blind but, What’s the difference?
Seems like portions of the backdrop are a bit lighter now?
Sam standing darker floor
Colouring more purple than blue
I think theyve made the phone screen news image a bit smaller
And the threenews logos in the backdrop seems to have been dropped…thank god
That’s a shame I liked that first flooring bit of a change from black studio floorings
They’ve added a few more wooden panels over Sam’s left shoulder. They’d done that a couple of weeks ago, but forgot to put the light effect at the top, so the new bits at either end really stood out - but they corrected that about a week ago.
There’s been little tweaks along the line, it’s a bit like spot-the-difference.
They did say it wasnt going to be exactly how they want it and cool to see they are refining in a subtle way
Noticed that Imogen Wells had a Stuff mic tonight reporting from Paris.
Some of the camera work is certainly not up to the same standard as Newshub, but I think most people would probably look past that.
I hope this bulletin is working out for both parties as on the whole it’s a good watch. Prefer it to Newshub, doesn’t feel like as much like a carbon copy of tv1
Bulletin never returned for the weather this evening.
First technical glitch tonight, bulletin didn’t finish ![]()
colour bars, BT tower 3g, and tone… woopsie
Thought ThreeNews finished early. Because they were so ahead of the bulletin, starting the sports headlines after 6:30pm. Then filling in multiple reports afterwards.
And sucks about the technical issue that we won’t get our “Weather Keats” report. Could be a worry to expect more technical problems.
Yes, that part was interesting. I assume we can pinpoint London is where the playout operations are now?
