The ultimate singing show returns on 10 August
Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping new chapter of The Voice Australia!
The world’s most electrifying music competition – and Seven’s biggest entertainment program – returns for its 14th season on Sunday, 10 August at 7.00pm on Seven and 7plus.
After its win for Best Entertainment Program at the
64th TV WEEK Logie Awards, The Voice is back with a brand-new, world-class panel of Coaches. These music legends bring their vast expertise to the iconic red chairs, ready to battle it out to discover the best new talent Australia has to offer.
With a legendary career spanning over 30 years and over 120 million records sold, international pop phenomenon Spice Girl Melanie C is ready to raise the stakes of the competition. She’s joined by GRAMMY Award-winning hitmaker Richard Marx and The Voice veteran Ronan Keating, returning after almost a decade. Completing the panel is Aussie vocal powerhouse Kate Miller-Heidke, back for her second season, determined to win.
This season, over 60 talented artists will take to Australia’s biggest stage, hoping to turn their singing dreams into reality.
Guiding them is the incredible 2023 TV WEEK Gold Logie Award-winner Sonia Kruger, who will support the hopeful artists on their journey to stardom and referee the ever- competitive Coaches.
The winner of The Voice will walk away with a $100,000 cash prize, plus, an all-inclusive recording development package including production, recording, mixing, mastering and access to Australia’s leading ANR and label services.
The Voice is an ITV Studios Australia production for the Seven Network.
Series Structure
The Voice kicks off with the spectacular Blind Auditions, where over 60 talented artists take to the stage hoping to turn the superstar Coaches’ iconic red chairs. With only 10 spots available on each Coach’s team this season, the stakes have never been higher.
When an artist receives more than one chair turn, the Coaches must pitch themselves to the artist, who then decides which team to join.
During the Blind Auditions, each Coach receives one Block, giving them the power to prevent a rival Coach from securing an artist they’ve turned for. Additionally, each Coach has access to one Ultimate Block, allowing them to block all three fellow Coaches at once, in a bold attempt to secure the artist they desperately want on their team.
In the next round, artists from each team face off in pairs in the epic Battles. This season sees 20 Battles – five per Coach team – with only one winner emerging from each. In a dramatic twist, each Coach also has the power to save one additional artist – from their own team or another – who would otherwise be eliminated.
The pressure intensifies as The Voice enters its toughest stage: Knockouts. In this challenging round, 24 artists are reduced to just eight, with each team narrowing from six to two.
Grouped in trios for the two Knockouts per team, artists perform individual songs based on a theme. Each Coach then selects two artists from each Knockout to progress to a four-way Showdown, where they perform a song of their choice. From there, two artists per team advance to the Semi-Final.
In the Semi-Final, the top eight artists give their all to secure a spot in the Grand Final.
The Voice Grand Final will showcase the top four with solo performances, followed by mesmerising duets with their Coaches.
At the end of the Grand Final, Australia will decide which of the four finalists will be crowned The Voice 2025 champion.
