Alex was voted out in last night’s episode, making it the first time since season 1 that two Traitors were banished this early in the competition. It also meant the producers had to activate the Blackmail option for the first time. The sole remaining Traitor (Kirby) had to write to a Faithful, coercing the contestant to join her or he/she would be “murdered”.
UPDATE 26/8
Kirby chose Rhys to be the new second Traitor. Together they put Luke and Josh into a death card duel. In the best of three format, the person who drew the life card in two rounds got to remain in the competition, while the loser got “murdered”.
Luke is soooo annoying. He needs to get over himself. I’m really hoping he goes.

Also regarding the Roubd Table surprised Alvin has revealed it only takes 30-40 minutes to film. Pretty sure the UK/US ones have been known to go on for hours.

Why wouldn’t they do it? That’s been their release strategy for the season.
We are living in a world now where people know that spoilers are online.
Release the show and then it’s on you to watch it when you want to.

Tonight was the first occasion I saw the contestants having an early dinner at a particular time: 4.40pm. I knew that they ate early before the banishment vote at around 6pm.
Got to hand it to ten. I think they have delivered with this season. This has been a pretty compelling season and the production quality is high - perhaps not as high as UK and US but for Australia and for ten, I think this has been a good first season. I look forward to each ep which is a good sign that they have hit the mark. Hopefully they can iron out a few smaller things and attract a decent cast for the next season!

It’s been a really good cast this year. Just unfortunate I don’t want any of the remaining faithfuls to win.
I don’t think Kirby can make it the rest of the way but I want her to win.

It’s actually Australia’s season 3 but the best one by far. Gretel has been excellent and surely we’ll get more.
