The scheduling will be key because you would think after the previous two seasons struggled ratings-wise, this is the last chance for The Traitors to demonstrate it can work in Australia.
If it can’t capitalise on the buzz surrounding the format, it will be clear that it’s just not a show that resonates with the Australian viewing public as much as some think it should.
It just simply has to air in April and May. MasterChef will rat e the same anywhere.

Our devious contestants will work together to build a prize pot as ‘Faithfuls’, but a group of ‘Traitors’ will be hiding amongst them, scheming to eliminate players and turn them against each other. As paranoia and suspicion sets in, our Faithfuls will need to hold their nerve, trusting each other in daily votes to banish the Traitors and share the prize pot.
Can our Traitors remain undetected in a bloody brilliant game? Or will our fearless Faithfuls succeed in uncovering them before it’s too late?

She also tagged former rugby league player Sam Thaiday and internet personality Max Balegde (all three competed on I’m a Celebrity earlier this year). Could the trio be taking part in season 3?
They all did I’m a Celebrity this year together so I certainly hope they’re not all going to be on The Traitors.
So great to see Gretel hosting on TV again.
I highly doubt the actual contestants are revealing themselves on an Instagram post. They would have signed NDAs until 10 are ready to reveal.
Gretal is a good choice for host. I find her a bit boring on Amazing Race but we know that she’s great in a hosting role and could play up the character of a Traitors host well.
I think Gretel will be excellent. Would be great for 10 perhaps involve her in some way for BB to tap into nostalgia. Perhaps she could be a narrator, or host a segment etc

That’s what I thought too. I read that she and Epiphany were well paid for being on TARA and I assumed she was going to have some sort of involvement with the new BB season. She’ll be very good as the host of The Traitors.
Another name that has been mentioned as potentially on the cast is Keira Maguire.

Wonder if they’ll pick up any other new versions? Canada, Ireland etc.
They often do this sort of thing on the international versions where they pick contestants that have played together before. It does help with the chemistry and the back stories.
10 are doing a massive publicity blitz for Traitors UK even though it’s only streaming.
Should they have gone all out and air it on TV? Or is it a smart strategy to see how much traction a show can get on streaming with a decent advertising campaign?
