The Real Housewives of Sydney: The claws are out - already

JUST two weeks into filming, all hell has broken loose on set of The Real Housewives Of Sydney.

Opinionated socialite Lisa Oldfield has referred to her castmates as “molls”. Oldfield, wife of former politician David Oldfield, took to Facebook this week to divulge how brutal it is on the set of the popular Foxtel series.

“Feeling rather bruised and broken after my first night out with the Real Housewives of Sydney. What a malevolent bunch of molls.”

@JBar the claws were out on day one of filming :joy:.As excepted catfights involving Lisa making news.

Got a strange feeling even more drama on Sydney than Melbourne series, can’t wait to watch this! :yum:

Lisa Oldfield sounds like an idiot. She was having a go at the Melbourne cast too on social media. Just bring back Melbourne already.

###The Real Housewives of Sydney

Premieres Sunday 26 February at 8:30pm AEDT

Slip on your favourite designer dress, pour another cosmopolitan and charter the super yacht! The Real Housewives of Sydney are ready to set sail and show Australia the extravegant and stylish lifestyle this beautiful harbour city has to offer, when the highly anticipated series premieres Sunday February 26 at 8:30pm only on Foxtel’s Arena.

The Real Housewives of Sydney are; AthenaX Levendi, Krissy Marsh, Lisa Oldfield, Matty Samaei, Melissa Tkautz, Nicole O’Neil and Victoria Rees. Between them, these seven sophisticated and vivacious Housewives run successful companies, travel the world in luxury, attend the most exclusive parties and are the matriarchs of their million dollar mansions. All women are fascinating in their own right and when put together create a diverse mix of magic and mayhem.

After three months of non-stop filming, hours of high-end shopping, litres of champagne sipping and opulent overseas jet setting, the Sydney Housewives have delivered even more explosive drama than anticipated while showcasing their luxurious lifestyles in this beautiful and effervescent city. The series delves deeper than ever before revealing an insight into their lives; the highs, the lows and everything in-between.

The season begins with the first meeting of our vivacious cast and in true Housewives form two of the women are just back from stints living overseas. Former Miss Australia, Nicole O’Neil is literally in the process of moving back from London with her two little girls while ex-model and outgoing glamazon Krissy Marsh is still settling back into Sydney life with her family after time spent in Shanghai. We are also introduced to funny, opinionated mother of two Lisa Oldfield; cosmetic nurse and Beauty Expert of Sydney Matty Samaei; artistic, free spirit AthenaX Levendi; ‘triple threat’ actress model singer Melissa Tkautz; and entrepreneurial mum and social scene queen Victoria Rees. Once we have had a sneak peek into their million dollar mansions and lavish lifestyles the Housewives all come together for the first time for a ‘welcome home Nicole’ soirée at Cruise Bar - a swanky venue directly opposite the Sydney Opera House. It’s all very gorgeous and even civil…to start with!

The 11-part, one-hour series is produced by Matchbox Pictures in conjunction with Foxtel. The Real Housewives of Sydney is the second Australian instalment of the world’s number one lifestyle reality franchise, following the success of The Real Housewives of Melbourne.

The Real Housewives of Sydney premieres Sunday February 26 at 8:30pm on Foxtel’s Arena.

Foxtel has renewed The Real Housewives of Melbourne for a fourth season, with filming to take place in first half of 2017.

Does First half mean that it will start filming soon? Hopefully it’s not too far off as I’m concerned that means that it might not air until the end of the year or even til next year which would be a big gap. It will be interesting to see how much of the cast they get back after the gap. I hope it’s not too big of a shake up. With Sydney starting as a whole new cast, the appeal of Melbourne is that we now know them pretty well and there is already a firey group dynamic so I don’t think they would want to mess that up too much. With Chyka gone maybe just drop one other (like the new girl who didn’t add much this season). Can’t stand Pettifleur or Lydia but they do make good TV.

Also noticed on social media that Lydia and Gina spent NYE together. They seem to have become real good friends again.

According to Lydia on facebook only Gina, Jackie, Janet and herself were approached to return for season 4 so it looks like Susie, Gamble and Pettifleur could be out. I would be devastated if Gamble wasn’t asked back. She is hilarious. I’m also surprised that Lydia would want to return after the shit that went down last season, although being approached doesn’t necessarily mean she has accepted (although shes stupid so she would).

Big promo campaign on the backs of buses for Real Housewives of Sydney starting 26 February 2017.

Real Housewives of Sydney star Melissa Tkautz reveals steamy tryst with Simon Baker

I didn’t think this was news because Melissa Tkautz has talked about this before (on Studio 10 most recently, I think) but that doesn’t stop the Daily Telegraph from labelling this a “steamy tryst”. What I did find interesting about this interview this morning is that not only was Simon Baker one of the models in her film clip for number one single “Read My Lips” but Fitzy & Wippa discovered that Tom Williams was the other model in it.

Has it been confirmed yet anywhere who is returning for Melbourne? I know they have commenced filming.

As far as Sydney is concerned… these girls are insane! I feel like they have all gone into with a massive ego and are definitely trying to outdo the Melbourne ones. Athena X is an absolute psycho. Strangely I’m enjoying Lisa Oldfield and she actually feels like one of the more normal ones amongst this bunch. Melissa Tkautz seems alright too. The rest are just too much.

The Sunday Herald Sun is tipping lawyer Venus Behbahani-Clark will join The Real Housewives of Melbourne. Behbahani-Clark, a 32-year-old mother of two, is married to entrepreneur James Clark and based in Melbourne’s leafy eastern suburbs.

Interesting. So it seems that most of the cast is likely to be returning with the exception of Susie and Chyka. Susie will be no loss to the show that’s for sure. I thought that they started filming for Melbourne earlier this month? Possibly they did but just some of the backstories for some of the housewives. I’m guessing now though that Melbourne probably won’t air till the tail end of the year.

As far as Sydney goes I’m enjoying it a bit more now but these girls really are a bunch of bitches lol. The way they are reacting to Lisa’s marriage breakdown is bizarre. Victoria talking like the only option for her was divorce just makes no sense. Good on Lisa for trying to fix things. Next week looks like it gets fiery though! Possibly Lisa is starting to get shafted similar to Gina in season 1?

Imagine if the Sydney girls were at the Whitsundays for fliming during Cyclone Debbie. Now that would very interesting to watch

Only if they were sent out surfing. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Well Lisa Oldfield did claim to get caught in a current during their trip up there. :joy:

I find with Sydney Housewieves I havn’t warmed to anyone even remotely close to what I have with Melbourne. Usually with Melbourne when there is an argument viewers kind of take a side. In Sydney case which has basically become Lisa & Athena X vs the rest there are bitches on both sides of the fence so it’s kind of just like watching dogs eating dogs. I would say that Matty is probably my fave overall and I don’t mind Melissa but she is pretty boring.

Still loving Sydney and how bitchy it is but definitely prefer Melbourne.

Typical Melbournian. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Well ratings support my view.

Next week it looks like the drama gets physical (well I guess it has already the way Lisa pushed Matty away at the gallery the other week). The preview shows Victoria throwing a napkin in Athena X’s face at dinner. Athena X then retaliates by throwing her drink at her.

The level of nastiness and bitchiness between these women is going to a whole new level. It feels like it’s Lisa and Athena vs Krissie, Victoria and Nicole with Matty and Melissa kinda sititng in the middle of it all.

Athena X is a psycho. She can dish it out but can’t take it. She makes out that she does nothing wrong, for example; the night of her art work exhibition. She started that argument between her, Krissie, Nicole and Matty. Then when Lisa arrives she’s acting like she’s the victim.

Matty would have to be my favourite housewife
