Showing shots of the audience is not great when it seems half the seats are empty.

Yeah I noticed last weekend the Sydney audience was very light on, wonder how long they’ll try sustain that as a point of difference amid declining audiences.
I’ve also noticed that their warm-up guy is very LOUD and too enthusiastic lately which makes the audience reaction sound really fake.

Hamish mentioned at the end of tonight’s show that they’d had a lot of technical difficulties and lots of things had gone wrong, but I actually didn’t notice any of them, besides half the audience missing!
Well, he did say they came in early to prerecord an interview with the American influencer who snatched the baby wombat but she cancelled it at the last minute and sent them a recorded message instead.
He said that was the reason that they had plenty of time to fill, chatting to Michael Hing.
I notice Steve Price’s left arm is on a sling when the panel chats with Fatboy Slim.

The Project was coming from the Sydney studios tonight as well so Steve would have had to go through airport security with the broken arm, can’t imagine that would be too fun even if he does fly up the front of the plane!
I don’t think it is broken. He mentioned something about an old shoulder problem.

Justice Michael Lee ordered Network Ten and Lisa Wilkinson pay their own costs as he ended a long-running dispute over the legal costs incurred by the defence in the defamation brought by Bruce Lehrmann.
Ten has already agreed to pay $1.15m to Wilkinson for her own legal representation but the outstanding costs incurred by both parties in the costs dispute came before the federal court today.
Lee said he will “make no orders as to cost”. “I’m not going to have any further disputation,” he said.

Seems like Rove’s been dropped, no mention of him - unless it’s to do with Taskmaster.
If he is dropped after last week’s fiasco, love to know what went on behind the scenes.

I’m sure he’s just unavailable; it’s unlikely he’d be ‘dropped’ from a show that his company is still involved in producing.

I believe I mentioned to you yesterday that there was only one Taskmaster filming date, being this Friday, which would impact Rove’s appearance on the show.
Wildly speculative to suggest he’s been dropped, it’s his own show essentially.
