The Sunday Project is always from Sydney now that HYBPA? is back filming on Sunday’s.

Is this her version of Waleed’s “Something We Should Talk About?”

It would seem that is the case, was pre-recorded in a similar way.

It’s already had nearly 50k views and 953 retweets on twitter.

which is exactly why The Project is so successful on an online format.

Since 7:30 Friday it’s had 3.2 million views, 48.6k likes, 15.1k comments and 71.4k shares (my own Grandmother even shared it) on Facebook also. Powerful stuff

Yup had a few friends on Fb share it. This is really good content and it’s especially potent because it cuts through the babble. It’s emotive and it’s raw.

They were able to get a couple of Hollywood legends on the show with Richard Dreyfuss and Kathleen Turner. It was disappointing that they had gave them so little time at the end of the show which had to be cut short, as usual. Especially since they got into some heavy stuff about harassment in Hollywood and didn’t get enough time to cover the fun times of their past careers.

Also, you’d think they could have leant them a decent jacket for their appearance so they didn’t have to appear in a hiking jacket and a cardigan on national TV.

There was something delightfully refreshing about Anna Daniel’s report from outback Australia. We need these stories as much as the metro issues and I loved her authentic delivery.

More of Anna, please The Project!

Once again not enough time scheduled for the final guests of the night. It is woeful planning. Due to the lack of time, the interview came off as awkward as Lisa asked the tough question and Drefyuss and Turner were cut off mid discussion which left things ending on a sour note.

Agree. Someone should have made the decision upstairs to extend the show and ask a lighthearted question at the end.

Why can’t they just put them on earlier?

They should. Probably best after the mid-show newsbreak.

It’s a way to try and get viewers. They intentionally put their Guests on the last segment of the show because they know that people would only watch because of those guests. And during the show they constantly remind viewers that they have that particular guest on and telling them they are Up Next.

Couldn’t they put them on for the second to last segment and keep them for 2 segments?

They just need to produce better, and make sure they leave enough time.

Video of Richard Dreyfuss slamming The Project.

The Project needs to address this. They should probably try and get Richard back on the show.

I don’t think their intention was to “mug” him on the subject. They probably only expected him to make a passing comment on the issue but he went into much detail and because they had limited time, it ended up being all about that.

I just watched the interview back. It was Kathleen Turner who brought up the subject specifically talking about preferring to live in New York rather than Hollywood because of the climate towards women, with Hamish asking a follow up question to that. Richard then also answered that question (that he wasn’t asked). Lisa’s question was a follow up to what he said.

Unless previously agreed, anything can be discussed in this sort of interview.
