Has there been some major attrition in the promo department at ten? This years’ promos for DOND, I’m a celeb, and The Project have all been cringe.
Ten were the more reliable network to create quality promos, even when there was a low budget. What has gone off the rails this year?

If there was a change it was definitely before the 2023 promo. Everything at 10 is cheap now.

An improvement on last year’s I’d say.
Really? The Project “exploding back” is better? Waleed look really “cool” because he’s wearing sunglasses and doesn’t allow anyone to touch them? No.
This one is more reflective of what the show is about (even if that’s telling unfunny jokes). Waleed playing guitar and the hosts dancing was completely irrelevant and more cringey IMO.
I’m not defending the previous one. I was being sarcastic. This one is awful too.
The show has zero energy at all. I find myself struggling to watch a whole hour these days.
It needs more engagement with the viewers, soemthing like a nightly viewer poll to check back on - based on a hot topic. Or to engage with social media comments to show diversity of opinions from home viewers. They used to in the past and it worked quite well.
Because I think what it lacks is actual opinions. It is a concern that guest hosts like Pricey and Kate Langbroek are more entertaining and perhaps even funnier than the regulars.

They need more of these. 1 special one-off host a week would be great to keep things fresh.
Because the minute anyone (especially Waleed) expresses an opinion they get publicly maligned and are accused of lecturing us.

According to That’s the Ticket website, the Sunday Project will be coming from Melbourne on January 28, coinciding with men’s final night at the Australian Open.
