I don’t think so much as the fact it’s coming back, but moreso what they plan to do to address dwindling audiences.
But Upfronts is not the place to announce that IMO, they want a positive message to market and any major possible change to the show risks overshadowing other important announcements.
You would have to think (or would hope) they’re constantly reviewing the show and also its place in the schedule and what that looks like moving forward.

There initial plan as announced at the Upfronts is to try to gain a higher lead in for the show from 6pm to potentially provide a better from from the 5pm news through to 7.30 reality shows. So it isn’t like 10 are doing nothing.

They’ve tried that with other shows already such as Family Feud and the Celebrity Name Game.
They need to stop trying to force people into staying with The Project and actually do something about the show. It’s time has passed in that slot. Nothing will change that.
How has Sarah garnered such a feral fan base?
