Interesting, I wonder if it will be live or a pre-recorded special. There’s no Project at all this week but in previous years they’ve done pre-recorded “best of” shows each night during the Christmas week.
For some reason, the “best of” is airing next week - the New Years week. Strange they didn’t do it this week also, like previous years.

Yes, a bit strange.
Would have been better off doing two episodes before Christmas then start up again after New Years Day. Take the time off between the two big holidays.

Tonight’s “2024’s Biggest Stories” is just like a normal Project show with packages of biggest stories throughout the year, thought they might’ve tried to do some slightly different presentation.

Didn’t see it mentioned anywhere it was live?
I always presumed it would’ve been prerecorded since it was just a look back at the year and they’re on break.
Just thought the presentation might’ve been a bit different, given the name didn’t mention The Project at all etc.

A bit stupid to label it it as “2024’s Biggest Stories” in the EPG because my Fetch box does not recognise it as The Project so didn’t record it tonight.

Did not expect Sam (or any comedian) to be put on as one of the main hosts this week
These are pre-recorded shows. He did the same last year.

You can tell when these were filmed cause of the people involved. You won’t catch Waleed doing any extra work for the show

What are you talking about? He usually hosts some of these retrospective end-of-year shows. Do you always have to find a way to bag Waleed?
Waleed even hosted the special live edition on Christmas Day in 2020.
