Rebecca Gibney’s appearance in NCIS Sydney was for a double episode (theoretically with potential for more)

I love hate watching NCIS Sydney. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

These storylies are just so preposterous. Every week I can’t believe how over the top they go. And the tone of the show is just ridiculous. A main cast member was held hostage, witnessed two people being shot dead in front of her at point blank and is almost also shot. But she is able to crack jokes at her rescuer, then boards a boat in evening wear and manages to shoot the assassin. He falls in the river and gets eaten by a croc. Moments later she is able to crack jokes about eating croc burgers. No trauma from witnessing deaths. Just having a laugh. Just ridiculous.

The only good thing I can say about this show is that it always looks so slick and cool.

Tonight’s NCIS episode (Stolen Moments) featured an AI chatbot which was played award-winning American voice artist Carin Gilfry. Brian Dietzen, who also co-wrote the script with Jesse Stern, told Parade that Carin was actually invited to be on the set the entire time, so that Dietzen was actually working with a live actor.

Carin also posted photos from the sets on her Instagram, including this one with most of the main cast. (On far left is Thyme Lewis, who played Secret Service Agent Greg Bradley)

CBS has announced their fall lineup

Tuesday:

NCIS 8pm, NCIS: New York NEW 9pm & NCIS: ORIGINS 10pm

NCIS Sydney will be mid season so Jan or Feb 2027 replacing NCIS Origins.

NCIS NEW YORK has LL COOL J coming back as Sam with Scott Caan

Didn’t see NCIS: New York coming. Most of attention had been on FBI spin off CIA.

LL Cool J and Scott Caan had worked together before on the NCIS Los Angeles and Hawaii Five-0 crossover in 2012, titled Touch of Death.

Scott will be playing a new character not bringing back Danny

NCIS actually has its Australian office in Perth, so this does make sense. However, I think NCIS: Sydney caters for the whole of Australia, seeing the team visited the Top End in season 2.
