Not sure, the ad was just live a little early, fair few comments on the same ad on FB saying the ep wasn’t up yet.
But the first episode is up now, S01E01 episode is called ‘Gone Fission’.

Shows on P+ get added at midnight.
They are the opening credits posted earlier. We get our own ad break transitions (or whatever they are called) though.
The whole thing has been done quite well, it looks really good and showcases Sydney and the Harbour. There will be some complaints about some of the ‘ockerish’ lines at the start but they get toned quickly once the action starts.
Yeah just finished watching episode one. The start is very Ocker - almost as if it was written by an American with an Aussie slang dictionary. It’s also a little “rah-rah look how good Aukus is” as well at the start, but once the action got underway that was pushed aside.
I liked the dynamic between JD and Mackey of who’s actually in charge and as someone who knows a few anatomical pathologists William McInnes played one real well.
I’ll be watching each week on the way to work.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Surprised at the opening theme
Paramount+ Original Series NCIS: Sydney. Streaming Now On Paramount+.
The wait is finally over.
The first episode of the highly-anticipated Paramount+ original series, and first-ever international series from the global NCIS franchise outside of the US, NCIS: Sydney , is available to stream now. Following the premiere, new episodes of the action-packed, eight-episode season, will drop weekly on Fridays.
Filmed against the spectacular backdrop of one of the world’s most breathtaking harbour cities, the brilliant and eclectic team of U.S. NCIS Agents and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) are grafted into a multi-national taskforce, to keep naval crimes in check, as international tensions rise in the Indo-Pacific.
The NCIS: Sydney team is led by NCIS Special Agent Michelle Mackey played by Olivia Swann (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The River Wild) and her 2IC AFP counterpart, Sergeant Jim “JD” Dempsey played by Todd Lasance (Without Remorse, Spartacus: War of the Damned). They are joined by Sean Sagar (The Covenant, Mea Culpa) as NCIS Special Agent, DeShawn Jackson; Tuuli Narkle (Mystery Road: Origin, Bad Behaviour) as AFP Liaison Officer, Constable Evie Cooper; Mavournee Hazel (Shantaram, Halifax: Retribution) as AFP Forensic Scientist, Bluebird ‘Blue’ Gleeson and William McInnes (The Newsreader, Total Control) as AFP Forensic Pathologist, Dr Roy Penrose.
Internationally, NCIS: Sydney will also premiere today in New Zealand and UK on TVNZ and Paramount+ respectively, and in the U.S. on The CBS Television Network and in Canada on Global and STACKTV, on Tuesday, 14 November.

Surely the first episode of NCIS: Sydney will air on 10 ?
Eventually, but currently it’s a P+ exclusive.
NCIS: Sydney was officially launched at Walsh Bay (where many interior scenes were filmed) last night.
… as confirmed by Beverley McGarvey, Executive Vice President, Paramount ANZ in her speech at the official launch on Friday night.
Wasn’t it always the case that it would air on 10 and most likely in 2024. Still no date or time period or when
Yup exactly, no new information there.
I’m not convinced these delayed premieres on FTA is the way to go however, there really hasn’t been a predominately made for streaming series which has had any success on free tv here.
The Bridge, Luxe Listings, countless dramas, FTA figures for Love Island Australia are dismal etc.
I still think they should debut on FTA and the streaming service at the same time.
They won’t do that because then it doesn’t get subscribers to their service. Why pay for P+ when you can get it on 10 for free? So it won’t happen.
But i doubt it works to lure that many subscribers. Most who really want to watch it would just subscribe for a month and then ditch it. Viewers are canny now.
CBS is showing it on FTA first and they have a full schedule on their channel. Ten does not. They invest in all these first run and co-productions but they hand them to Paramount+ first. By the time they’re on Ten there’s no buzz.
I think NCIS: Sydney will air on 10 in February 2023, given other American dramas like FBI and SVU will still be filming and won’t be ready to air in America.
You’re saying you want the dramas to air first on 10 then P+ but that’s just not realistic in this current climate. If they did that what exclusive shows would you have air on P+ then? It’d just be a dumping ground.
They’re two entities and 10 needs to learn to stand on their own and not rely on repeats from P+.
Well then 10 shouldn’t invest in shows like Five Bedrooms and give Paramount+ first bite at the cherry. They might be getting some of their investment back but how is it a good deal for them. 10 won’t stop showing these either because they need the Aussie contrnt. Their schedule is full of American programming.
Unfortunately this is the future. The streamers will be the main game and the FTA’s will be the dumping grounds and the home of repeats.
Might have been beneficial for the first two episodes to screen on 10 to help promote the show, then pause for the summer break while promoting the full season being available on Paramount +
I think they should have done that with the first 1-2 episodes to see the viewer interest before airing the rest in 2024
Also since the original plan never had it airing on CBS, I wonder what metric they would have decided to renew the show for another season if it was P+ first before airing on 10 3-4 months later and people would of watched it illegally etc.
Now if it does well for CBS & has gained interest then it would come back for S2 even if it flops in Aus on 10
