Dunno.
I’m never home I’m just going by the comments I see on here
They all take heaps of days off now. I guess they’ve been there long enough to negotiate that in their contracts. It gives them a chance to do other things and not be annoyed about being forced to turn up five days a week for 42 plus weeks of the year.
Plus after so many years they would have a truck load of annual leave etc.
Long service leave?
In fact, at Seven, quite a few non-prime time personalities would surely be eligible: AOK, Kochie, Sam, Nat, Beretts, Simon Reeve, Monique Wright, Mel Doyle
Angela Cox did fill in on The Daily Edition in 2017 on a few occasions.
Sunday Night isn’t in primetime?
I’ll cop that
Monday 18 November-
Kylie is back co-hosting with Larry this morning.
Monday November 25
The show is on air today, because the cricket finished early.
As a result, they’re spending most of the show looking at highlights of the year (most of which I haven’t seen so I don’t care )
Live advertorial today, for Black Friday.
Very rare.
The show is scheduled to finish early in WA today at 10.30am local time, for the cricket pre-match.
The show will not air at all in WA on Thursday and Friday due to Australian Open golf. Although the episode will be available on 7plus in the afternoon, will it be better to air it at the normal time of 9am on a multichannel? (10 airs Studio 10 in WA on Bold when it clashes with Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix or Bathurst 1000)
Wednesday 4 December-
Ryan Phelan is hosting with Kylie.
Ryan also presented sport on Sunrise this morning.
Wednesday 11 December-
Ryan Phelan is co-hosting with Kylie.
Thursday 19 December
Robert Ovadia presented news updates this morning.
Friday 20 December-
Sally Bowrey presented news updates.
Two days in a row WA missed out on The Morning Show because of Australian PGA Championship telecast. If Seven is willing to move the golf to 7TWO today to accommodate BBL cricket, perhaps it could have aired The Morning Show on 7TWO in WA yesterday and today as well. 7mate going HD next year will give the network more scheduling flexibility and prevent this kind of program clash from happening again.
Monday (23.12.2019): Sally Bowery is co-hosting with Larry.
Random tip: TMS is going to eventually become the only Aussie show without a presenter change, name change and timeslot change (or even EP change?) over a specific run in history I reckon, I mean it’ll be on 15 or 20 year anniversary before we know it. Just keeps such a consistent audience, loyalty and therefore commercial arrangements, pumping out daily episode after daily episode.
I think Larry and Kylie are fantastic and wonderful chemistry, but it has to be said it’s kept the two from doing much else in its run (Kylie the odd Olympics hosting duties and Larry the failed game show re-boot around 2012)
It’s a very big feat. 12 years on air, and as a morning/daytime show, to only have the same hosts during that time is a rare feat.
It did air from 9-11am for some time. But now airs slightly longer (until 11.30am). Thats the only difference in the timeslot chance in 12 years.
Summer series starts on Tuesday 31 December.
