Out of curiosity how is Osher filming both The Masked Singer and The Bachelorette? One is in Melbourne the other in Sydney and didn’t The Bachelorette start its filming recently?

It was mentioned in Mediaweek’s interview with Stephen Tate that I posted a link here yesterday. Tate said:

It’s a juggle. We will have to find some creative workarounds for the production of The Bachelorette. He will certainly have a presence throughout the entire series of The Masked Singer. He has the energy of 10 hosts. What helps us face the logistical issues is that Warner Bros is the producer of both shows which will help make it work.

I heard one of them singing Firework by Katy Perry and immediately thought Zac Efron. I think it was the Bushranger. I’ve been watching his new doco series on Netflix the past couple of weeks and the voice just sounded familiar. The promo also says that there are “Hollywood stars” and that probably means a good chance that Zac is on there unless they’ve got one of the Hemsworth’s.

The Queen sounds like Nat Bass or Kate Miller-Heidke. I’m hearing Nat’s Rogue Trader style voice in there but then I thought of Kate too potentially disguising her voice.

I listened to a lot of Nat Bass in my teenage days and I am convinced it is her.

If they get Zac or one of the Hemsworth’s I will be very impressed. It wouldn’t even bother me if the rest were Emma Wiggle, Humphry Bear and Mr Squiggle.

This will affect filming of season 2 as Jackie O, Osher and some of competing celebrities are from NSW. Osher will be the most affected as he won’t be able to go to the filming of The Bachelorette for two weeks.

Almost certain the Wizard is Isaiah Firebrace. They played extended clip of it singing Firework tonight and that’s sounds so like his voice (Not Zac singing Firework like I thought initially).

News Corp reports Kate Walsh, who is currently staying in Perth, could be competing in season 2, as 10 revealed a clue that a big name from an Emmy-winning series will be behind one of the masks. Grey’s Anatomy won four Emmys.
