The Masked Singer

Eddie McGuire and former Federal minister Christopher Pyne both revealed on Triple M this morning they were approached by producers of The Masked Singer to appear on season 2. Pyne almost said yes but McGuire turned down the offer because his vocals are just no good.

How soon though? If Dannii just got back into Australia she would still need to isolate for 2 weeks right? then they can film and then it will be a few weeks before it airs. I’m thinking it will air in September.

It will air after Bachelor in Paradise concludes

That is an extremely tight turn around.

The Voice has done it.

They can easily film this show in a couple of weeks. It would also mean that filming length is not too big of a commitment for contestants so it might encourage some people to do it.

Yeah they could easily film the 10-12 episodes in 2 weeks. Bachelor in paradise probably has 4 weeks. So it gives them plenty of time.

Sunday Herald Sun reports season 2 will ramp up production at Docklands Studios later this month.

Won’t travel restrictions mean all contestants will be from Melbourne…? Just a thought.

No because you can get into Melbourne you just can’t get out very easily.

And this is clearly not the case with 3 of the judges outside of Melbourne.

You can check in but never leave. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Makes sense that is why Melbourne’s population has grown so rapidly.

It will probably be a very short shoot given there is no audience. They can just continually film it back to back weeks and it’s done and dusted.

They did it all in just over two weeks last year.

Wonder how the voting will work with no audience?

Probably just judges vote.

But what if judges vote ends in a 2-2 tie?
