Go figure. The only thing that rings a bell there is the 11pm timeslot, so now it has to finish by 11.30pm? Only Seven can answer that question.
Here we go again…
Sharyn says on the 6pm bulletin that The Latest will be on at 10.30… EPG says 10.58
Big Brother was originally scheduled for 60 minutes but ended up running for 90.
According to Seven’s guide The Latest was scheduled to start at 10:50pm
I agree with you @spw68, but it would sound kind of odd if Sharyn said “Join Angela Cox for The Latest at 10:58 tonight”
Only because it isn’t usually done.
Big Brother? Finish 8.30? How can you keep a straight face?
She could’ve said 11pm, as it was advertised in the update. My point was it was incorrect by 30 mins.
10.30 looks to be a default time they’ve put in there, no idea why they don’t update it before airing.
They’ve said different times on other nights.
Don’t know then. Out of ideas.
Thursday 08th July -
Angela Cox presented tonight.
The Latest needs a tidy up…
They should go back to a proper intro… and stop using the blue ‘latest’ transitions used in the OTS in the intro, in favour of the original ones.
Also in the “coming up” OTS before breaks, settle on one font rather than 2 different ones which are not used anywhere else in the bulletin/7 news bulletins.
And get rid of the combination of the set sweep AND title card when going to break. Very strange.
Tuesday 13th July-Wednesday 14th July -
Angela Cox is presenting.
The Latest is on tomorrow (Sunday) night, at 9.10pm, following Spotlight.
(going by the updated schedule on the Seven Programs and Schedules topic)
Michael Usher is presenting tonight’s special edition of The Latest.
From the content shown in the preview during the news, it appears it is a normal episode as opposed to a follow up of 7NEWS Spotlight. Is this a sign of things to come? Could The Latest now be airing five nights a week?
