The finale was shown on ELEVEN last night, highly unlikely the show will return next year.

The writing was on the wall when Ten moved the show to Saturdays due to poor ratings, but the final nail in the coffin was moving the show to Eleven.
Yep, I’m pretty sure that The Great Australian Spelling Bee is pretty much as good as axed now. Although I certainly wouldn’t put it past Ten to run something like The Biggest Loser as it’s replacement show… 
Season 1 premiered on DIVA TV (Asian subscription TV channel) on Monday this week and will continue on Monday and Wednesday nights.
