The Family Law

Nice finale. 6 episodes just isn’t enough.

The Family Law will have a third and final season in 2018.

The third season will have its world premiere at the Adelaide Film Festival next month.

Season 3

12 January 2019

On January 12th 2019, ‘The Family Law’ is back for one final spin! Based on Benjamin Law’s hit memoir of the same name, the third and final season dives deep into the heart-bruising vulnerability required to put yourself on the line, own up to your needs and go after the people you want to love, whether you’re in your teen years or in the middle of your life. It’s about the cost of denial and secrets, and the soul-corroding effects of keeping everything inside.

Screening on a Saturday in January. Why???

Update: Scheduled with double episodes at 8:30pm on Saturdays.

In an unusual move the series will be simulcast on SBS VICELAND, and the full season will be made available on SBS On Demand on the same day.

Really good episodes last night for the start of season 3. What a waste to screen it on a Saturday night in the middle of summer.

Just finished season 3 after binging through S1 and S2 over the last 2 weeks to recap.
I love this show so much. If only the commercial networks could nail comedy like SBS and ABC do!

I hope one of the commercial networks picks it up and adds it to its streaming service because it deserves a wider audience.

Benjamin was very happy the show made it onto Gogglebox this week.
