Really stunned that Nine didn’t send their hosts to cover it from London. Watching Seven and other Networks from across the world and the difference to being on the scene vs in a Sydney studio is noticeable.

Is this the impact of cost cutting to gain the Olympic Games?

Another four-corner day for Nine

ABC / ABC News now a simulcast

Back home in NZ, I was shocked to learn that the live BBC feed is taken by Three.

Looks like TVNZ and Three will be taking the same BBC feed. They did that for the funeral too iirc.

I thought Three was taking the live ITV feed as ITV is Three/Newshub’s affiliate.

Unlike ABC and 10 during their news services, Seven and Nine are not offering continuing coverage of the Coronation on a multichannel at 6pm.

So if you don’t want an hour of news, you need to change networks to continuing watching the activities in London.

ABC coverage appears to do be focusing their attention on Indigenous issues and the Indigenous Voice to Parliament, rather then the “pomp and ceremony” discussion on 7 and 9.

So there’s no footy on Nine tonight

Coronation coverage begins on 9Gem at 7pm while the footy will be on the main channel (in rugby league states).

I wondered what was going to be covered when this segment of their coverage was labelled “panel” discussion".

Right now, the only live coverage from London is BBC feed on 10 Peach (ads on Seven and Nine)

Not really the time for that discussion. Bit disrespectful of ABC. It’s irrelevant to this particular event.

Stan Grant needs to be let go from the ABC. He clearly isn’t happy with their stance on things.

Yeah Stan Grant needs to read the room here. He’s allowed to have an opinion but this is not the way to win anyone over.

Kochie part of the afternoon presenting team, probably to allow Musher to get ready for the 6pm bulletin and later coverage.

Not surprised by the ABC.

It’s borderline agenda pushing here. I’m not against a Voice to Parliament but what does it have to do with the Kings Coronation? And having the discussion under the banner of the Coronation is also misleading.

Seven had the same banner across their coverage for at least 20 minutes - I think we got the message

They finally took it down ahead of the news starting

10 is back to London at 6pm
