It almost seemed like they were abruptly handing over to the start of the Late News in a similar way to the abrupt end of the 5pm news and start of 10 News+

It was a great show last night - not always rewarded in the ratings, but yesterday’s was with a near 2-year high of 526,000 and 5th in 25-54 demo.

I enjoyed when they had Shaun Micallef on and his banging on about how news based comedy shows are dying and a terrible thing. I also loved hearing about Tim getting his love from The Micallef P(o)gram(me) back in the 90’s - such a great show and was good to see the tiny clip they showed.
I also thought it was interesting that the news broke of Hollingworth’s death as I remember him featuring prominently in one of Shaun’s opening monologues on Micallef Tonisht where he was going on about how terrible it was that the GG had re-signed when he had done an appalling job with the accusations against the church etc… etc… Then Shaun was corrected that he had resigned instead of re-signed and Shaun quickly changed tone to “oh, he’ll be sorely missed.”
* As for the spelling of the shows as I’m showing my age - there were incorrect spellings of the show based on the old Program/Programme debate and others based on typos in the TV Guide - e.g. one week it was “The Micallef Pogram” and with his other show it was “Micallef Tonisht with the Channel Nine Nines” instead of Tonight.
Loved that cheeky integration between Cheap Seats and 10’s Late News last night!

Was the Bakers Delight segment a sponsor segment? I noticed no mention of AHM this week. 
It’s back this week. Looks like it will stay there for the rest of this season.
