The Cheap Seats

Personal life discussion.

I noticed Tim wasn’t wearing a ring on his ‘wedding finger’ on this weeks episode

Here’s a grab from a random episodes last year on the September 12, 2023 where he was. From memory he had been wearing it for some time (perhaps a year or more).

I tried uploading a second picture of this weeks episode. But the site says as a new user I can only upload one picture.

This weeks episode

He spoke about it on Marty Sheargold show, he thought he lost it recently so has taken to not wearing it out of the house

I wouldn’t read too much into it. People remove wedding rings for various reasons. Doesn’t have to mean anything.

His brand is being single and a loser so he’s probably playing into that.

Cultural or Entertainment?

Netball commentator Bianca Chatfield presenting sport this week.

EDIT: comedian Bron Lewis is this week’s special guest.

Tim is such an interesting fellow. Tonight we learned he doesn’t have a drivers licence.

The sports segment was really funny BUT it felt like Bianca wasn’t needed as she didn’t talk much and didn’t really have anything to present.

Yeh there wasn’t any actual sports reporting this week. It was all Netball.

Speaking of netball, Melbourne Mavericks mascot “Goose” the unicorn made an appearance at the end of sports segment.

And almost mowed down a poor LED light lol

There was mention of ALW final, the 516 point win in local footy etc but all of that was done by Tim & Mel. So they could of done it themselves without a guest

But whole sports segment was very good and funny and Bianca did contribute to it being funny so I guess this week the sports guest wasn’t for the news but for the comedy

Strange for a Formula 1 commentator.

Melanie will bring her comedy show Attack of the Melanie Bracewell to Edinburgh Fringe Festival (show dates are from July 31 to August 12, then August 14-25), meaning she will be absent from The Cheap Seats for a month.

Excited for my Edinburgh Fringe debut, I’ve had a few messages from a woman called Martha saying she’s really excited about the show, hundreds of messages sent from her iPhone about it. The hype is starting!

Woolworths responds after comedian’s egg gag goes viral

Melanie Bracewell, a New Zealand comic, made a joke during a stand-up gig about a carton of Woolies eggs after she noticed the grocery item only had a 4.2-star rating online.

In the comedy routine, which she later shared on TikTok, Bracewell suggested the supermarket share the customer feedback with its chickens.

Now, in a somewhat unexpected move, the “Fresh Food People” have responded with their own humorous video, leaving some Aussies stunned.

Would love to see Mel Tracina fill in
