I don’t think its necessarily the content or jokes that makes this show what it is. Its the ‘in jokes’ between Tim & Mel. The way they dig at each other and take the piss (of themselves). The way a joke from segment 1 is referenced later on in the show- and sometimes the season. Mel Tracina’s interactions with Tim & Mel also.

The content is good - in that it shows how bad the Oz media can be at times (and how ridiculous) however I do think its more about the hosts.

I honestly thought the opposite. I thought tonight was quite average and everything felt a bit off. Makes you realise how perfectly Mel and Tim were cast.
