And I think people will get tired of watching counter shelves move backwards and forwards with Tipping Point before too long, and people will come back to The Chase.
Perhaps they could also have a few Celebrity “The Chase” specials on weeknights to regenerate interest in the show?
I’d say this is what Seven are banking on. Plus they probably have no idea what to put in its place as the new “hit” format hasn’t yet presented itself
If the Money Spinner has been dropped as suggested above, hopefully they’ve gone back to basics as the show didn’t really need any change to begin with (ratings gap widened after the gimmicks were introduced)
It’s an 11 year old gameshow. These shows have a use by date.
The UK versions longevity I’d suggest is largely down to the Bradley Walsh and his back and forth with the Chasers and contestants. Something our version lacks.

Yes, the show is coming back in 2026 with new episodes. If it wasn’t coming back, it wouldn’t have been announced at Upfronts 2026 this year.
I reckon they’re working on a replacement to be launched during the Commonwealth Games.. I’m hoping at least.
Considering Anne has been here for two filming sessions throughout the year, The Chase was always going to be back for 2026.
The question is whether there will be “filming sessions” during 2026 for 2027?
Brydon posted on Instagram this afternoon that filming on season 16 had finished. He included a photo of himself, Larry and the production crew, plus full size cardboard cutouts of other Chasers.
Details on specific format points are being kept under wraps, but TV Zone understands the show will involve pairs of contestants answering questions and solving puzzles whilst travelling around the world to be in with a chance of winning a huge cash prize.
It will be interesting to see if the contestants will travel to Australia.
The Chase Around the World? That’s definitely different. The Chase meets Race Around the World? Who would have thought.
An eighth season of Beat the Chasers UK is also to air in the new year in the UK (from the above article).
Chase Around the World sounds like an April Fool.
Ironically Million Dollar Minute only lasted 2 years. If Seven is daring enough, they could revive the show. Don’t mind the repeats on 7two too be honest
But what network has that amount of money to give away these days? Let alone 7.
Could be the $10 000 minute? 
The problem with Million Dollar Minute was that the original host was awful (and didn’t want to be there), and the format was incomplete. Once it was tweaked and Simon came in, it became much better but unfortunately by then the audience had moved on
No way Seven or any network could afford it nowadays sadly, too risky
The Host at the Start was Channel 10’s Family Feud,Celebrity Name Game and Deal or no deal Man Grant Denyer.
So what we have uncovered here is Grant fails on Seven.. but nails on Ten… How ironic.. Still Million Dollar Minute could work (as long as they don’t wheel in Larry).. If only Seven didn’t make Simon Reeve redundant 
I thought Grant left because of health/mental health issues at the time.
