āZero viewersā: Tenās disastrous new low:
Zero doesnāt exactly mean zero in ratings. It could mean the finale attracted less than 1000 viewers in Brisbane.
If itās a thousand, it may as well be zero in FTA.
A zero rating means less than 500 when rounded down. While a terrible number for a reality show, itās not totally out of the ordinary for programs especially on the lower rated multichannels. Several programs each day get 0 ratings in one or more markets - including some main channel programs this week.
Infomercials airing at 2am maybe - this was a big budget reality tentpole.
The Challenge: World Championship premieres on P+ in USA and Canada on Wednesday, March 8, and in Australia on Thursday, March 9. Brihony Dawson will be one of four co-hosts.
But before that, the first season of The Challenge Australia will premiere on Paramount+ in the US on February 15.
Four contestants from Australia will take part: winners Kiki Morris and Troy Cullen, plus Emily Seebohm and Grant Crapp.

Paramount+ today announced the highly anticipated cast line-up for the upcoming global tournament The Challenge: World Championship, which is set to premiere on Thursday, 9 March.
Joining long-time host TJ Lavin to kick off the premiere episode are global hosts Brihony Dawson (Australia), Mark Wright (U.K.) and Alejandro āMarleyā Wiebe (Argentina).
In the franchiseās first-ever world tournament, each global MVP will be paired with a āChallengeā Legend, a notable veteran from previous seasons of the MTV series, who will serve as their partner to form the most epic teams in the history of the franchise. Together they will work towards the most difficult challenge of them all: the brutal ļ¬nale worth US$500,000.
