Today’s episode had an introduction from actor John McCook who plays Eric Forrester… this week’s episodes will be ‘classic’ Forrester fashion shows.
At least today’s episode featured Sally Spectra played by the fabulous Darlene Conley, she was my all time favourite character on this show.
God i miss Stephanie Forrester when she was on. Reminds me of my childhood as i had to tolerate it because i wasn’t in charge of the TV from 4.30pm onwards. This is my favourite one liner from her!
Soapie acting at its best and the iconic long, gazing looks

Looks like the classic episodes have made it to the Australian ones - here’s Angel’s cameo.
and the 30th anniversary logo.
The show has been a worldwide success for decades and has a loyal following here in Australia, and it has even surprised me that some of my friends and extended family are addicted to watching and have been missing their daily dose of Bold.
This morning on Today Extra on Nine the Bold resuming production was the first headline during opener!
That’s sad! Did they do that for Aussie show Neighbours when it led the world doing that?
how long before 10 starts aireing the new episodes?
They’re unsure when these episodes will be on air but the guess is mid-July.
Don Diamont who plays Bill will be live from the set on Studio 10 this morning.
In recent months Don, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), Heather Tom (Katie) have made appearances on Studio 10 from their homes.
That didn’t last long!
“We have paused very briefly to modify our testing protocol to better accommodate the large volume of testing needed,”
Unfortunately but with the safety for everyone involved being the number one priority this will be the new normal now, stopping to modify the workplace and then returning.
Production has been delayed again because the producers were not happy with the testing lab.
“The lab TV City provided The Bold and the Beautiful with last week produced several false positives and many inconclusive results.”
As a result, Television City, working with Bell-Phillip, switched lab facilities. Production is slated to begin again on Wednesday.
“We have not had, nor do we have, any positive COVID-19 cases and are not ‘shut down,’ but we needed the additional time to ensure our testing protocols were at the highest standards,”
Fair enough, get it right first.
Are they still going to keep showing “Best Of”, as seemingly the show won’t be back up and running anytime soon. 10 had ordered 50 episodes to screen while the show was on hiatus. I just hope if they do keep showing the classic episodes, they show 90s and 00s episodes.
Interestingly they said they “licensed” these episodes which tells me they are spending additional money on these repeats. Wonder how long they’ll wait until they restart new episodes. It is as good an opportunity as they’re going to get to start fast-tracking it within weeks rather than months behind the US.
Note that from Wednesday 08th July the 4:30pm timeslot is currently TBA.
