Fox Sports have posted the final episode in full on YouTube.
The main problem the show had, whilst I also agree it was a good, very underrated program, was that it clearly stood out vs the glossier Fox Footy and later Fox League ‘magazine’ shows, coming across as being more ‘newsy’ and perhaps too analytical, dialoguey and plain, especially for younger audiences. Wouldn’t be surprised if many just didn’t really get it nor even realised it was on TBH.
Much like Fox Sports News, you have to give the wider department and Foxtel credit for sticking by it for decades and especially the past decade, true passion, dedication and commitment with the crew and Squires and Underwood & Co and its loyal viewers.
Well it kept bouncing around whatever channel was free to air it, and in my opinion teetered into ego stroking with (minus host) seemingly random and full of themselves panellists (Candice Warner, Lisa Wilkinson’s husband, Kerry O’Keefe, etc.) trying to do comedy and having strange kid humour countdowns.
