Yeah I looked and including intruders there are normally only roughly 18 for the season. There is already 20 in that photo (I guess one is her brother). I wonder if this will be a longer season (ie. Bachelor season).

While The Bachelor has been pretty consistent audience wise, The Bachelorette has been up and down. 2015 first season was a success (with dumped Sam Frost the Bachelor season before), 2016 was not (with Georgia Love), 2017 was massive hit (with Sophie Monk), last year was not (with original Bachelor season Ali who was on Bachelor in Paradise earlier last year and probably overexposed and her reported behaviour probably alienated viewers).
Looking forward to Angie, hope new fans from Gogglebox work a treat by tuning-in too.

You would think this season would fall somewhere between the 1st season and Sophie’s audience wise. There have been ALOT of romance shows on air this year though.

Yeah I think this season might do well with Angie. It always depends on who they have as the bachelorette, that is why it is up and down as put. Even if in its down years though it does ok in demos and online catch ups. Its a good performer for 10 at a time of the year they where they struggled in the past.

From tears and shock exits, to bare bottoms and little lobster balls, this is most hilarious and revealing season yet and Angie is showing a side to herself that you have never seen before. For the very first time ever, she’s putting her heart on the line.
But it’s not all fun and games when love is on the line. Loyalties are tested, the bro-code is broken and drama levels are high.
At the end of the day, love is not for the faint-hearted as hearts will be broken and the green-eyed monster will rear its ugly head. If this is an indication of what is to come, Australia is in for a wild ride.

Angie is a piece of casting gold. She is exactly what the franchise needed after a very beige Bachelor. Her quick wit and natural responses were refreshing in the first episode.
Looking forward to the Goggleboxers reactions next week.

I really enjoyed her as the Bachelorette but she needed to rein those boys in. They were walking all over her last night. Looks like she shows them who is boss next week.

Jess deserved to be booted out by Angie in last night’s episode after his distasteful comments behind her back, and also misogynistic behaviour towards female members of the crew.
Now Noosa mayor Tony Wellington has called on Jess to resign as councillor.

Im sure they had a good idea. Ten have “leaked” his audition video where he cracks onto the female producer. They were heavily promoting the episode with the “councillor” all day yesyerday. Theh gave him mayoral robes to wear on the show. They knew the furore they were helping create.
