The Bachelor Australia

Yeah, they need to bring it back here. It was great in Season 1.

I think with Australian shows the setup costs for a 1 off in studio reunion is not really worth the effort when instead they can use the final contestants to have their exclusive post show interviews on Studio 10/Project. This gives them a chance to cross promote with other network shows as well. The fact is ratings are going to drop off after the winner announcement, so it looks better for the finale to have the peak audience compared to a reunion which would have a fair drop off.

Also I always find Bachelor reunions/ after the final rose quite awkward. Like come on given it airs months after the show is filmed, I don’t think a lot of the eliminated contestants want to hold up their lives to do a reunion show months later. Many will have moved on, found partners etc. Do we really need to hear how heartbroken they supposedly still are?

In the US I think they have two shows, the above is After The Rose with a reunion show the night before the finale and including (amongst other things) fairly heated interactions between the contestants and contestants asking the Bachelor ‘what about me?’ Both shows have the potential to outrate other 9pm shows, but it depends on how full the network schedule is - they wouldn’t miss Offspring for this.

Semi-relevant but here’s a hilarious review of the Bachelor finale in the US.

(Severe course language warning).

Georgia from the last season of The Bachelor has been charged with the traffic of cocaine, traffic of commercial quantity of amphetamine, possession of money being proceeds of crime and the possession of cocaine and amphetamine.

Daily Mail found in breach of press guidelines in publishing shirtless photographs of Osher Günsberg while he was on a day off from filming The Bachelor last year.

And so they should have. Absolutely disgusting article. Daily Mail should be embarrassed with how far they went.

Promo is already available on the Daily Telegraph website.

Thanks for the remainder. I was thinking this morning when the first promo would appear, given there is less than a month to go to the MasterChef grand final.

Someone has been working out
