Kitty, Marty, Emma And Guy, Thank God You’re Here.

Wednesday, 27 September At 7.30pm On 10 And 10 Play.

Next Wednesday, the Thank God You’re Here blue door swings open for the last time this season. But never fear, we’ve rallied the bullsh#t brigade to end the series with a bang.

Stepping over the threshold and into the unhinged, unpredictable and unknown, are three return performers: Marty Sheargold, Emma Holland, and Guy Montgomery, plus Kitty Flanagan making her Thank God You’re Here debut.

Notorious for throwing its performers in the deep end, Thank God You’re Here will hurl a few cheeky curveballs at the audience too. Expect the unexpected in this eventful finale!

Get over it . So you have kids ? Well don’t let them watch it!

As Judge Judy will say : you are getting hysterical over nothing. Finding something to pick out . No one is forcing you and your kids to watch it.

Another great episode last night, however I felt that Dane Simpson was disappointing. He didn’t speak a lot in his own scene and the all-in challenge, and when he spoke he struggled for words.

I have watched a few episodes and it’s not enjoyable as the original series was . I can’t work out what is wrong with the show it seems disjointed . There have been some great scenes though but overall I’m disappointed . Hope it gets another season , where they can iron things out

I’ve got an idea about what’s wrong.

The scenarios are terrible and the ensemble cast is no good either.

It’s got nothing on the original.

Not to mention Celia. Her screeching when she talks loud is burning my ears.

I think the more times a performer does it the better they get. So its like because its new people its like when it first started and needs to find its feet again.

Agree, there’s too many that are mock tv shows, it’s almost like a default setting if nothing else can be come up with

I generally Celia, but don’t think she’s the right fit.

My other dislike is the audience laughter from Celia’s intro at the top of the show sounds like canned laughter from a 90s show.

I’ve really enjoyed some of the scenarios, and Virginia Gay’s would have to be the standout of the series so far, not even sure what I’d put in second place.

I don’t think it’s really to do with that. I think it’s more the fact that they have had a lot of comedians on there that have either never done this or have only ever done it once or twice. Overall I think it has been ok but they have had a lot of people on there who are not that great at improv.

But sometimes you don’t know until you try it. Having seen and heard Joel Creasey be quick with his comedy, I thought he would have done better than he actually did. In comparison, Rhys Nicholson, whose comedy and skits I find a bit average, absolutely smashed the improv on this show.

That’s the whole thing with the show, you just don’t know how things will go until you try it. Joel Creasy was alright but I did think he would be a lot better. Rhy Nicholson has Theatre and improv experience so this is why he is suited for TGYH.

Half of Joel’s standup is written by others, he’s not that good.

That could explain it but he is usually quick with the comebacks on radio.
