Test Cards and Other Internal Content

With thanks to @Zampakid for finding this retro countdown/slate one on tape, an interesting one which slipped through the cracks and somehow aired on Channel Seven Sydney leading into the Sunday morning religious show “Crossed Sections” on 10/12/1989:

I have a few more to come.

I wonder what’s Censored in this version…

A menu from a Foxtel A&E Promo DVD. It’s basic to say the least.

Also some Totally Wild

And last of all A&E’s Mega Truckers, In which the Menu is pretty light.

I assume GCQ on the Today Show promo is the Gold Coast? I didn’t think that service had a call sign as such, being an opt-out of QTQ - though I assume they need a way to indicate whether or not a promo is suitable for the Gold Coast transmitters (though the only schedule changes are between 4.30 and 6pm)?

I wonder why NBN isn’t mentioned? It’s Nine O&O and uses the same promos. Is it because NBN isn’t played out from FF, and is treated as an affiliate?

When was this test card used?

This was the one TVQ used before going to air in 1988
