How I miss the A.B.C. test pattern rather watch it then some of the garbage they air on TV today.

those were the days when ABC TV didn’t have as much programming in daytime than they have now. I remember the test pattern and music and some of the music is quite varied from light classical to Brian Eno to Kraftwerk, and in one instance played a Village People album! The bunny rabbit slide was shown five minutes before a scheduled programme (usually a “For Schools” film) on sick days I used to love watching these programmes, in the country it was either that or The Midday Show/Days of our Lives/Young and the Restless! SBS did the same with their test pattern with scrolling messages listing their channel frequencies at the time.
