Ten Sport

Aren’t UFC PPV events also available on UFV tv in Australia?

Fight Pass only has the prelims here (shared with ESPN). The main cards are Main Event exclusive.

This has been the arrangement since January last year

10 will continue to show NBL games on Sundays, after renewing its deal with the league for another year.

The NBL has also extended its deal with Network 10 for another year, confirming free-to-air basketball will remain on Sundays at 2:30pm (AEDT) on Channel 10, and 4:30pm (AEDT) on 10 Drama.

That’s something at least for 10

Interesting that 10 has only committed to show the 2025-2026 season of the NBL. Could this suggest that 10 is conserving its resources for a tilt at the broadcast rights of the NRL and Supercars?

10’s parent company Paramount is reportedly in talks to renew its broadcast deals with the A-League.

There are zero resources associated with this. NBL do the coverage themselves and I seriously doubt 10 are paying anything outside a revenue share

Yeah, I can’t see this having any bearing on other sports rights deals.

I don’t think it has been confirmed Ten are the one who only wanted one year. More likely the league wants to go again in 12 months to see if they can do better.

Yeah there was talks 7 was going to get the Wednesday night games but ESPN took them

I think there is still a chance they will be on 7. ESPN were always going to have every game including the in season tournament.

I take it back. New article on Code said they couldn’t come to an agreement with 7.

But, after months of negotiations and a long back and forth, hopes the new Ignite Cup in-season tournament would take pride of place in prime time on the Seven Network on Wednesday nights have been dashed.
CODE Sports has been told the the two parties were unable to reach agreement on which medium the games would be broadcast on.

So maybe 7 wanted it on 7mate & NBL wanted it on main channel?

Maybe 10 could have tried to get them but they would have have the same problems. They have shows (Big Brother) Wednesday which would need the main channel slot during Oct-Dec & also Feb too

Having the NBL on the main channel could perhaps be a condition by the NBL? Who knows.

Although not a ratings success for 10, but would it be on par with all the repeats they usually air on the Sunday afternoon slots (branded travel shows)? As least its new content.

All well and good, but this doesn’t explain who’s broadcasting what.

Is 10 airing it exclusively in Australia? Is 10 simulcasting it with Amazon Prime Video in Australia? Is 10 simulcasting it with APV and NBA League Pass? Does APV and NBALP have the rights in the US?

Poorly written press release.

10Bold is showing the Friday night game.

From what I read, it’s on NBA League Pass, Prime & 10.

Seemed pretty clear to me? All 3 are broadcasting it in Australia. It’s an Australian centric media release - not sure why it would have to include US broadcast details.

10 having more Basketball rights?
Colour me surprised. Good on them

EDIT: Is this on 10 Drama nationally because of The Brighter Side or something silly knowing 10?
