There is only 5 GPs that are in a good time zones. If they did make a play it would be for Paramount+.
I think 10 should bid for the rights to the highlights show of non-Australian F1 rounds as the minimum. They could stream on 10 Play and air on 10 Bold at lunchtime.
According to the NBL website, the fifth and deciding game of 2024/25 NBL Championship Series between Illawarra Hawks and Melbourne United will be shown on 10 this Sunday at 2.30pm AEDT, live from Wollongong. The Hawks levelled the series at 2-2 after beating United 80-71 at John Cain Arena tonight.
Was the NBL Game 4 Grand Final shown on 10Bold on Wed night?
Also, good to read that game five, and deciding game, will be on 10 this Sunday.
Yep. Watched the last 6 minutes.
The FIA announced late this afternoon (AEST) that Melbourneās Albert Park would host the F1 season opener for the second year in a row, on March 6-8, 2026.

Why doesnāt 10 try and get 2nd tier sporting comps. Be it NSW Cup or QRL Hostplus Cup or something of that line. 10 has the compacity to air it and itād be cheap and show they care about sport.
Iāve actually been thinking this as well!
And it might beef up the weekend schedule a bit.
Because no one cares those competitions and it would further re-enforce that 10 are bottom feeders when it comes to sport in 2025.
Also Nine owns the live rights to the finals donāt they?
Nope. The QRL do it themselves NSWRL is done by Bar tv sports. when it comes to finals, I think Fox sports may have the rights to QRL NSWRL seems to change year to year.
I dbout 10 would go for those rights. They make bugger all money.
If it was linked to their football and basketball coverage, maybe. Ten could air the Australian championship final, maybe the NBL1 national finals. But again, it probably would be cost prohibitive.
Upstart streamers have tried the local sport angle before and have ended up collapsing. Thereās no money in it from viewers or advertisers. This is the sort of thing community broadcasters would, and in some cases do, excel at.
Tenās owners Paramount have picked up a SEVEN year deal to broadcast the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Be interesting to see if any of the events find a home on a multi-channel or Paramount+
Am I reading the phrase 10 and sport in the same sentence?
Paramount intends to explore UFC rights outside the U.S. as they become available in the future.
U.S only at the moment.
Foxtel is currently is in a āmulti-yearā deal with the UFC which kicked off at the start of 2024.
All good. Knew Iād most likely have misread it
According to CNBC, Paramount will have an exclusive 30 day negotiating window when the current rights deals end in each country.
As such, donāt be surprised if the UFC ends up on Paramount+ once the current Foxtel (for PPVs) and ESPN (for Fight Nights, PPV prelims & other content) ends.
Would like to see it happen here but Foxtel/Main Event wouldnāt want their prized UFC PPVās gone
Here in Australia, all UFC Numbered events since January last year are exclusive to Main Event and unfortunately that isnāt
changing anytime soon
