The Melbourne Cup Preview Show just finished on Ten. I dont know much about horse racing in general, but i found the show informative - previewing the next couple of days events. And a few “expert tips” too. A nice simply show and to the point. And even showed (briefly) on how the Melbourne Cup (“trophy”) is made.

Has this always been on 10 Sport’s Motorsport page. Not sure when it was last updated.

Network 10 is the home of big event Motorsport with the Australian Formula One Grand Prix and Australian MotoGP.

New desk from last year?

Looks to be a new desk, not sure why they went to all that effort but here’s last years for comparison.

Possibly a new desk for upcoming Paramount + / 10 A-League coverage.

I hope this time though, they transition this set into the Melbourne newsroom.

Maybe they realised last years set was too big for two people?

Yeah you’re probably right, similar design but the new one is much smaller.

The Dog House watermark is so unnecessary :man_facepalming:t2:

This seems to be getting worse ever year. Are they even at Flemington or at ATV10 (Como) studios?

I think 10s coverage of Melb cup is presented in a classy and elegant. It’s clean and crisp. They do go to a decent effort to produce a decent coverage. Others present things in a tacky and stripped back way.

You are right, given this is a sports show, the 10 watermark should have been on top right of the screen.
