I think they ditched it when Google started using it as part of their new pixel launch.

2018-era 10 was peak, it was different fun, and the promos felt creative and the channel was good.
Now it’s very mundane with their branding, despite having two of arguably the best multis around for advertising (seriously, 10 Bold & Peach could have some good advertising if they used ads like the classic launch ones.)

While watching NCIS repeats on 10 Bold tonight, I came across a Mental Health is Health ad, asking viewers to take a deep breath. I knew it was a PSA since 10’s logo was shown at the end.

I did a Google search and found that Mental Health is Health was a campaign launched by 10’s parent company Paramount last October.

Peak 10 was a summer ident with a song something along the lines of “the sun is shining”.

Why would a website banner ad for 10play, displayed on 10play, show anything other than ‘stream now’ as a call to action?

Exactly right. Pointless saying to watch on ch13 when the user can stream it direct or watch the shows individually

My point stands that they used the banner for the kids page - which you’re already on - displays the 10 logo alongside the Nickelodeon logo implying it airs on 10.

No. Ten didn’t buy Nickelodeon.

Nickelodeon and Ten are owned by Paramount Global. They also own CBS, MTV, Comedy Central and Channel 5 in the UK.

One interesting thought. If they really stick to the 10.com.au rebrand and get rid of 10 Play, will we see a Nickelodeon app? The ABC had a kids iview app for a little while.

Or will the branding be “Watch it on Nickelodeon and the 10 app”.

I’d imagine a Nick tile, and a kids profile if they were smart.
